Septal Deviation

Septal Deviation is that cartilage and the bone in the middle of nose shift from midline to the right or left. It is frequently seen; however, it is often not severe to disturb the nasal functions. Hits on nose play an important role in occurence of this illness. Such symptoms as,            nasal obstruction, drying and incrustation inside nose,sense of smell disorders, ache and nosebleeding, can be observed among patients. In many patients conchas increase  nasal obstruction by swelling. Mostly cartilages, which lead to nasal obstruction and are removed from a small area in the nose, are  removed. Conchas are dealt with in the same surgery.Patients can breath easily one week later.

Tympanum Illnesses

Tympanum repsesents a large amount of ear-nose-throat diseases with especially accumulation of water in childhood, eardrum puncture in adulthood. Many nasal diseases are treated in our clinic.

Tonsil Adenoid Diseases

Tonsil and adenoid start in early childhood and grow till adolesence. The reason of this growth is related to diet, genetic and hormonal factors. Besides, viral and bacterial infections reason to the growth, as well. Among the children who have often tonsil infection, their growth and school success are effected. Life quality of the children is reduced. Likewise, adenoid problems, which are seen together with tonsil diseases, reason to such problems as, respiratory problems asleep, accumulation of water in eardrumand shape disorders on the face among children, which leads to the fact that such juniors  go through a tough childhood. If done with true indications, surgeries of tonsil and adenoid fix the quality of children’s lives, prevent the chşldren from going to the suregeons frequently because of their disease.

Chordae Vocalis Polyp and Nodules

In time tumorouses called polyp with a soft consistency and  nodule with a firm consistency can ocur over our vocal cords because of using our vioce in a wrong way, smoking, drinking less water and environmental conditions. In such cases, we advise a change in living conditions or give medication. But, for the patients who does not respond to such kind of treatment, these formations are taken out under microscope in surgery room. In such surgeries in which there is not any cutting process in the body, patients can be discharged from the hospital after about  5-day stay at the hospital after the surgery.

Vertigo

Complaints about balance disorders are frequently met by the surgeons of ear-nose-throat diseases. Vertigo can be described in short as motion illusion or hallucination. Patients claim these disorders with such sentences as, ‘I feel as if I fell donw’, ‘My bed is moving beneath my feet’, ‘as if things were changing their places’,’as if my head were not on my shoulders’. For the treatment of these diseases we are using such treatments methods as, medication, head-position exercises, steroid injection into eardrum.

Otitis Externa

Even though there are many protective physiologic structure in external auditory canal, infection can occur. Wettness and humidity can alkalize external auditory canal. Reproduction of bacteria gets easy on this alkalized surface. People who have tendency to Otitis Externa are swimmers, those who live in humid climates, people who have got hit on external auditory canal or people who have dirty or narrow external auditory canal. In the treatment external auditory canal is cleanedand medication is used.
